About Mr. Spicer
Mr. Spicer is an experienced litigator and trial lawyer who represents people who have suffered permanent or serious injuries and families of victims of wrongful death. He also handles a wide array of civil rights litigation matters.
Mr. Spicer is a graduate of Syracuse University and the University of Maryland School of Law. While attending law school, he served as a legislative correspondent for United States Senator Paul Sarbanes. Following law school, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable William D. Quarles in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Upon completion of his clerkship, Mr. Spicer spent five years as a prosecutor with the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office where he successfully prosecuted cases ranging from misdemeanors to homicide cases.
In 2005, Mr. Spicer transitioned to civil litigation. Prior to beginning his career as a plaintiff’s attorney, Mr. Spicer worked for a highly regarded civil defense firm. After representing numerous defense clients, he decided to focus his career on representing injured victims. Mr. Spicer’s experience on the defense side has given him insight on defense lawyer’s litigation and trial tactics.
